Background Information: Received his BA with a double major in English and Philosophy from Belmont University in Nashville in 1995. Completed an MA in English Literature at Belmont in 1998.

Jake spent over four years as a proofreader, and is currently a doctoral student in Philosophy.

In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking, fly-fishing (never confuse effort with results), all forms of media, and carpentry.
