Teaching With technology

In March 2000, The Innovative Technology Center implemented the Teaching
With Technology (TWT) grant program by awarding grants to 40 faculty members
representing 25 departments. Each grantee was provided a choice of either
laptop computer or a digital camera and a $2000 one-time salary supplement
to develop an interdisciplinary instructional module for delivery via the
World Wide Web.

In 2002, the focus of the Teaching With Technology grant program was
successfully shifted from individual faculty members to departmental faculty
teams. From 2001-2005, more than 75 faculty members have participated in the
Teaching With Technology grant program, resulting in the development of
approximately 100 instructional modules for delivery via the World Wide Web.
