The Innovative Technology Center maintains a small inventory
of equipment that may be checked out by faculty for classroom

The Innovative Technology Center Lab is currently located in
2412 Dunford Hall, at 915 Volunteer Blvd. Our phone number is
974-9670. You are welcome to "drop-in" to explore our
facilities. If you want to *ensure* a workspace for a period
of time, appointments are recommended.

Clicker Technology
UT Knoxville's Office of Information Technology (OIT) recently completed a Pilot
Study on the use of personal response systems, called 'clickers,' in the classroom. As a result, the university has adopted the eInstruction CPSrf clicker units as the sole authorized and supported classroom response unit. This new teaching and learning tool has proven to be quite successful in
engaging students and enhancing their learning experience.
