TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED CLASSROOMS
Technology Enhanced Classrooms (TEC I)
TEC I classrooms are available for instructional purposes at the University of Tennessee. All TEC I classrooms will have:
- Podium with laptop connection
- Projector system
- Internet Access (Ethernet or Wireless)
- VCR
- Sound system
- Auxiliary Port - audio and video
connections for other devices you bring to class (DVD, etc.)

Technology Enhanced Classrooms II (TEC II) In addition to this equipment, TEC II classrooms will have:
- Document Camera (also available in a few TEC I classrooms)
- DVD/CD/Laserdisk Player
- SmartBoard or Smart Sympodium
- 35 mm Slide Converter (available in a few TEC II classrooms)

Classrooms vary in what equipment is available. For specific equipment information about particular classrooms, search is available for any room on campus. Search by building, type of equipment, and/or seating capacity.

Training
ITC offers training workshops at the beginning of each semester for Technology Enhanced Classrooms. You can check the User Guides and TEC Workshop registration information. If you will be using Centra with SmartBoard, directions are available online.
